Through the generosity of the California State Library, all California K-12 schools have access to the online student version of Encyclopedia Britannica. Ask Ms. Barbara or your child's teacher for the username and password. |

ProQuest is a source that compiles and makes available a vast array of high-quality online databases. Username and password are available from your child's teacher or Ms. Barbara.
Most of ProQuest's resources are intended for older students and may cover controversial topics. The ProQuest resources that are best suited to elementary students are the following: Culturegrams (recommended for grades 3-12), which covers countries and cultures around the world; and SIRS Discoverer (recommended for grades 1-9), an online search tool for general research.
