The summer pleasure reading lists for 2021 are now posted on the district website under the “Parents” tab as well as on the Pennekamp Library website under the “Reading Lists” tab (and right below this post). There is no summer reading requirement for elementary students in our district. The lists for students entering grades 1 through 5 consist of suggestions for fun and interesting summer reading possibilities. Enjoy browsing the lists and reading this summer!

Students entering grade 6 at MBMS do have a summer reading requirement: two books from the list below, and one of them must be nonfiction.
