This week all classes are looking at books about architecture and construction. The theme is part of the library's focus on science at this time of year, specifically this week on the physical sciences. Next week is Earth Day (April 22), so we will be looking at books about the environment, which for us will turn out to be more related to the life sciences. More about that next week!
The 5th-grade book club selection is available at the public library now--lots and lots of copies, so I hope all book club parents will please go by and pick one up. The next club meeting will be May 5.
Next week is the Richstone Feast! This is my favorite Pennekamp event, so I will be there for sure! It's a wonderful opportunity for our school to support the Richstone Family Center, which is dedicated to preventing and treating violence in families, schools, and communities. Please come out and support this event.
